Take-Two Q1 2025 Earnings Call Scheduled For August 8th, 2024
Take-Two have announced their next earnings call will take place on August 8th. It's quite likely GTA VI will be mentioned again, but could we see GTA 6 screenshots first?
Each quarter, Take-Two Interactive schedules a conference call with investors to discuss the financial performance of their various organizations and intellectual properties (IPs). These earnings calls are crucial for investors, as they provide insights into the company’s revenue generation and future projections. They can also have a significant impact on their share prices.
CEO Strauss Zelnick is expected to discuss plans for the upcoming year, and it's likely that Grand Theft Auto VI will be on the agenda. It was originally slated for release within the 2025 fiscal year, although Take-Two has since announced that the game will be launched towards the end of 2025, making it more likely to be included in their fiscal year 2026 earnings.
GTA VI Updates Incoming?
Ahead of the call, it's posible Rockstar Games may provide an update on the development of Grand Theft Auto VI, with the release of the game's first official screenshots or even a second trailer.
Such a move would boost investor confidence and likely increase Take-Two's share price, as well as reignite the simmering hype around the game. Rockstar's previous marketing makes this more likely too - GTA V's first screenshots were released 254 days after the first trailer. August 8th will be 247 days since the first GTA VI trailer.
Assuming the game is still on schedule to launch in Fall 2025, Rockstar Games should also begin taking pre-orders at some point during Take-Two's 2025 fiscal year, which investors will also be keen to hear about.
