GTA VI Trailer 1 Hits 200 Million Views
Another milestone moment for Grand Theft Auto VI as the first trailer passes 200 million views on YouTube!
Rockstar Games had planned to show off the first GTA VI trailer on December 5th, however due to it being leaked, they pressed the big red button and launched it around 15 hours early. Depending on where you are in the world, the video premiered on YouTube on December 4th, 2023. In the 223 days since then, it has now been watched more than 200 million times.
On average, the trailer has been viewed around 37,000 times an hour, or 10 times a second since its launch! It's also estimated that with monetisation, the views could be worth almost $1,000,000 to Rockstar Games.
GTA VI Already Breaking Records
The first trailer for GTA VI actually set a new Guinness world record, receiving over 90 million views in the first 24 hours.
It's become the most sought after video since the release of the Grand Theft Auto V trailer 12 years ago.
Now, it's here and it's already breaking records.
